Summer holidays and fun days out..

So far this summer I've spent a week with my 2 girls plus my niece - ages 6,7&8.
It's a tough call keeping the little ones busy for the summer, but here's what we did on our first day together...

Monday - playing in the garden, teddy bear picnic lunch, walk to the park, then along the river and skimming stones
How was it:
All three enjoyed today, I thoroughly believe children should be given every opportunity to play in the fresh air and stimulate their senses!  And I always find they sleep better if they've been out and about. 9/10
The venue: garden - has many uses and with a little imagination anything can happen here! The park - a very clean park, and we were the only ones there. The river Tamar - the lawns - a beautiful walk, hardly any litter, plenty of room to run around and explore.
8/10
Cost: other than the cost of food - no extra money was spent. 10/10
Mummy moo-moo rating - 27/30
