Food, shopping, menus and planning...

Finally got the hang of setting up pages! Whoop!  So this page will be dedicated to my tips for weekly menus, shopping lists, costs and anything to do with this... so far this year I've done 2 online shops so I'll post those in the blog in a mo, obviously cost and deals are subject to dates so if you intend to purchase the same - check the offers are still vaild.  As I said on the main page - I shop with sainsburys as I like to collect nectar points, and then we can save these to spend on treats and yummies at Christmas time, last year I saved £80 in nectar points! Mr Moo-moo also has a nectar card for the same account, so we can both collect to build up lots of points.  We also try to use the extra point coupons that you get at the checkout, every point counts folks!

Also nectar points aren't exclusively for sainsburys - there are lots of stores and online shops where they can be earned, so check out the Nectar website for more info, and don't forget if you're investing in a new fridge for example and ordering online - maybe link your nectar card to the store and give your points balance a boost!

Obviously there are lots of other supermarkets out there, more savings and points schemes, its just a case of weighing up which one suits your needs, I'd love to hear of your tips for clocking up the points and taking advantage of all the savings and points schemes out there.
